The D'MAND Kontrols® C3-Series converts standard plumbed homes into D'MAND Kontrols® Systems. At the push of a button, the C3-Series pumps cold water sitting in the hot water line into the cold water line and back to the water heater. The "temperature sensor" automatically shuts off the pump allowing the pump's IFC (Integral Flow Control) Valve to close when hot water arrives at the fixture. Now you have hot water within seconds at the fixture and anywhere else plumbed off of the main line.

The C3 series models are recommended for use with dedicated return lines in buildings up to 4,000 sq. ft. with tank water heaters. Or pipe runs up to 120 lineal ft. with tankless water heaters.

The patented PDV (Check Valve) is built right into the pump housing, reducing the number of external devices. It is suitable for runs up to approximately 100 feet.

C3-100 D’MAND Kontrols® Systems can be used with both tank and tankless water heaters on dedicated return lines in existing homes, new home construction or light commercial applications. At the push of a button, or with a motion sensor in place, the D’MAND Kontrols® System activates and pumps the ambient (cool) temperature water back to the water heater saving both water and energy in the process. When the hot water arrives at the D’MAND Kontrols® System, the built-in thermistor automatically shuts the pump off and closes the IFC Valve. Now you have hot water within seconds at the fixture and anywhere else plumbed off the main line.

Advanced Conservation Technology, Inc. (also known as, ACT, Inc. D'MAND Kontrols Systems®) manufactures Hot Water Recirculation Systems that deliver hot water on demand, reduce water waste, and conserve energy. ACT, Inc.'s D'MAND Kontrols® recirculating hot water pumps send cold water in the plumbing back to the water heater, via the cold water, or dedicated return line, while simultaneously bringing hot water to all fixtures in the line, in a matter of seconds. Unlike other hot water recirculation pumps, the D'MAND Kontrols Systems® do not allow hot water into the cold water line, and deliver hot water to the furthest fixtures on user demand, rather than relying on a timer activated system.

Notes on Activation

The D’MAND Kontrol pump can be activated by a hardwire push button, hardwire motion sensor, wireless remote, or wireless motion sensor. The pump comes with 1 hardwire push button which wires back to the pump via low voltage wire (CAT 5 or doorbell wire). The user can order as many additional push buttons as desired; all buttons have to be wired back to the pump using low voltage wire.

For users who are retrofitting the pump into their homes and cannot run wire to the pump, The pump has wireless remote activators and wireless motion sensor activators. ACT, Inc.'s D'MAND Kontrol activation methods allow it to be the best performing on-demand pump on the market.

You can use the hardwire push button in tandem with the wireless remote activator or the wireless motion sensor, You CANNOT use any motion sensor (wireless or hard wired) with the wireless remote activator. The reason for this is that the wireless remote activator uses a 5-Volt activation switch within the pump and the motion sensor uses a 12-Volt activation switch within the pump. You can use as many wireless remote activators as desired, and up to 10 wireless motion sensors per wireless receiver.
