Expedited Processing or Expedited Shipping
Any special requests for expedited processing and/or expedited shipping,
or other modifications to the order must be in writing. Every effort will be made to
fulfill expedited orders; however, expedited processing or expedited shipping is not
guaranteed. If the expedited processing or expedited shipping deadline is missed, the
additional expedited processing or expedited shipping surcharge will be refunded.
Refunds for delays resulting in missed deadlines on expedited processing or expedited
shipping orders will be limited to the amount of the expedited charge only. Solar Direct
is not liable for delays caused by transportation companies or other events beyond our
control including back ordered/damaged/lost parts. Order Processing deadline is 2PM EST;
to begin processing, orders must be complete including confirmation signature and/or
verification of authenticity of card holder identity for any order where the shipping address
is not the same as the billing address and/or verification of funds availability. Any orders
received after 2PM EST will not begin order processing until the next business day;
Expedited Processing Times will begin on the first business day prior to 2PM EST.

Orders are subject to a fee up to 20% if cancelled. This fee is required to cover costs
incurred in the processing of the order, and will be determined by the status stage of
the order. The minimum fee is 5%. An order is considered subject to the Cancellation Fee after checking the "Policy Acceptance" box and
immediately upon pressing the "Process" button during checkout or by verbal authorization
for phone orders. All cancellations must be in writing and received by mail or email to Orders@SolarDirect.com.
Items may be returned within 30 days with valid sales receipt unless otherwise noted. Orders that are returned are subject to a 20%
restocking fee [returns must be pre-approved; customer must call and request a RGA# prior to returning; shipping and insurance must be pre-paid
by the customer; item(s) must be in new condition with complete original packaging and manuals to qualify for a refund]. Certain items may not
be cancelled or returned; see item page for details. Individual components purchased in a Kit may not be returned. For orders placed by
internet, phone or email where a signed order is not possible, Customer agrees that their electronic or verbal order and/or signature accepting
order from transportation company is authorization for placing order and agree to all policies and to honor and pay for credit card charges.
Returns are subject to additional fees if item(s) are damaged. Item(s) damaged during return transit are the responsibility of the customer; the
customer must file a claim with their carrier for a refund.
Delivery time varies, allow 3 to 14 business days for most orders to be shipped, plus transportation
time; see item page for specific details. Solar Direct's normal business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Delivery addresses supplied by the customer that are non-delverable by the transportation
company will be charged a $15 rerouting fee if corrected in transit; if the item(s) are returned
to the warehouse and require reshipping to a new address, the additional charges for the
actual shipping charge from the transportation company will be charged to the customer.
Solar Direct is not liable for delays caused by transportation companies or other events
beyond our control including backordered/damaged/lost parts.
Orders are insured during transportation and become the responsibility of the
transportation company after leaving our dock. Upon receipt of shipment, customer must
inspect the package for any visible signs of damage and note it on the freight bill.
Any concealed damage must be reported to the transportation company and Solar Direct
within three days. Any items lost, damaged or delayed by transportation companies are
beyond our control. Claims for lost/damaged items must be made by the customer directly
with the transportation company. Transportation companies have standard procedures for
damaged and/or lost item claims which must be followed to remedy claim. Solar Direct
will provide assistance in filing claims as a courtesy to the customer. Replacement of
damaged items will be expedited; however, shipment and delivery time can not be guaranteed
within a specific time frame.
Deliveries which are made by Common Carrier Freight Trucks: delivery locations
not accessible by tractor trailers must make special arrangements for pickup at the local
terminal or pay additional fees for delivery. Please inform sales representative at time
of purchase to avoid add-on fees after the original sale. Certain delivery areas which are
not serviced on a daily basis by the common carrier may require up to 7 days additional for
delivery; certain areas [i.e. Manhattan, certain islands or rural areas, etc] may require a surcharge
by the transportation company in addition to stated shipping fee.
The Liftgate Option for all items is a surcharge for an automated lift to move the item off the
delivery truck to the ground. In some areas Lift Gate service is not available. In the event Liftgate
Service is not available, Solar Direct may at its option, upgrade the service to UPS/FedEx/DHL
(or similar) or Deliver via Courier or Pickup Truck for the same surcharge, provided the item is
delivered to the ground. In the event this service can not be provided, the Liftgate fee will be refunded.
Items delivered by common carrier will be delivered curbside. The driver may move the package up
your driveway and/or inside your property as a courtesy; however, some common carriers charge a fee
for this added service, be sure to verify with the driver if there will be a charge; any additional charges
will be billed directly to the customer by the common carrier.
Items listed with "Purchased with Solar Pool Heater System Kit - Free Shipping" receive shipping at no additional charge only when purchased in combination with a Standard, Deluxe, or Premium Solar Pool Heater complete kit (panels only and panels with mounting hardware only do not constitute a complete kit). All items must be purchased on the same order; items may ship separately at our discretion.
When individual Solar Pool Panels are added as separate items to a Solar Pool Heater System Kit, the "Shipment Surcharge" must reflect the total number of panels in the entire order.
Special Orders are non-returnable and non-refundable. Special Orders require pre-payment in full or as otherwise indicated on the product page.
The following items are non-returnable, all sales are final: Pool Covers, Pool Cover Rollers, Spa Covers, Fafco Clone
Products, HeatSavr Liquid, EZHeat Repair Kits, Instant Frog, Liberty
light, Sun Ray Solar Security Light, Sun Frost Refrigerators, Staber Washers and Dryers. Non-Returnable policy may also apply to other items - disclaimer will be

All Prices are subject to change without notice. If an items price and/or shipping rate changes,
we will notify you before shipment to confirm order. No cancellation/restocking fee will
apply if order is cancelled due to an increase in pricing which occurred after the order

Prices shown here are discounted for internet purchases only. You must order online or request the "internet
special" to receive these prices if placing your order by phone. Items ordered with optional Installation not
available at internet discounted prices. Trade or barter purchases will be at full retail, and may not receive
the internet discounted pricing.
Discount Offers are limited to one per customer or household. Offers may not be combined. Coupons are only valid
for orders placed within the coupon sale dates; discounts will not be honored for orders placed before or after the

Orders outside the contiguous U.S.
Items posted on our shopping cart include Shipping within the Contiguous
United States only
unless otherwise indicated. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories require additional
fees for shipping. A surcharge may be applied to cover additional processing. Duties, Customs,
Taxes, Brokerage Fees, etc, are the responsibility of the buyer.
Orders shipping outside of the U.S. must meet a minimum purchase total of
$1000US; orders below this minimum require an additional non-refundable
fee of $150 for processing export documentation. International Orders
must be paid by Bank Wire Transfer, International Money Order, or Credit
Card. Orders paid by Bank Wire will be charged a $50 fee. Credit Card
payments, accepted at our sole discretion, will require additional
verification of identity for security purposes and signed order
confirmation to authenticate card ownership [faxed copy of credit card
statement, copy of drivers license or other government photo ID, copy of
utility bill; all documents must show billing address matching credit card
statement]. Orders paid by credit card MUST be delivered to the credit
card billing address. All shipping shown online are for delivery to locations within the contiguous U.S. unless otherwise stated. Additional shipping charges will apply for export orders. Note that small items often have shipping charges that range from 50% to 100% or more of the item value when using UPS, FedEx or other Air or Ocean Freight. Duties, Customs, Taxes, Brokerage Fees, etc, are the responsibility of the buyer. International orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable; certain manufacture warranties do not apply when exported outside the U.S.; warranty claims must be made directly with the manufacture.
Foreign Credit Cards used for items shipped within the U.S.
Orders made using Foreign [non-US] credit cards where the shipping destination is within the U.S. will be charged a surcharge of $25 to cover costs of verifying card holder identity. The card holder must provide card issuing bank phone number and/or other documents to verify card holder identity. Orders may be refused if sufficient proof is not provided or for any reason so deemed by Solar Direct.
Each spa cover is a Special Order item and is custom made to customer specifications.
Spa covers will normally take 7-21 business days to be manufactured and packaged for shipping. Spa covers are non-cancelable and non-returnable. This item requires pre-payment in full. Errors due to inaccurate specifications submitted by the customer will be the
sole responsibility and liability of the customer.
This is an oversize item. It is shipped through a common carrier freight company (large 18-wheeled truck)
and will arrive at your address about 3-7 days after leaving the manufactures warehouse. The freight
company will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. The item will be delivered from
the rear of the truck at your address. You will be required to accept and remove the merchandise from the
rear of the truck. The freight company will not take it inside without charging additional fees, which you would
be responsible for paying, as this was not included in the freight quote provided to you. It is important to
inspect the packaging for any potential damage that may have occurred while in transit. It is normal for the
cardboard packaging to show some wear. However, if there is visible damage, refuse delivery of the order and
contact the customer service associate from where you ordered your cover. If there appears to only be box
damage and you decide to keep your cover for further inspection, be sure to note the box damage on the
receipt you will be required to sign so a claim can be filed on your behalf – keep a copy of the signed and
noted receipt for your records. If the package is accepted without any damage noted, any damage found or
any claims needing to be filed will be the responsibility of the consignee.
Vortex Solar Heaters ship via FedEx or common carrier.
Notice: the panels are assembled in four 1 foot strips which are connected together with a tack weld. This is to hold the individual strips in place during shipping and handling until they are placed on the roof. In some cases, the tack weld will break apart during rolling, shipping, or un-rolling of the panel. This is normal and does not in any way affect the integrity or performance of the panel; broken seam welds are not covered under warranty.
Referral incentives will be at 50% of face value for all internet sales; no referral incentives

In the event of any dispute between purchaser and Solar Direct aka Energy Supermarket, such a dispute shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. The parties consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the Circuit Court, Twelfth Judicial Circuit, Sarasota County, State of Florida, as the sole and exclusive venue in any legal action or proceeding brought to enforce, construe or interpret any dispute between any purchaser or user and Solar Direct. Purchaser and Solar Direct irrevocably acknowledge and agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such court.
Unless otherwise specifically stated, Solar Direct does not manufacture products
represented on this site for sale. As such, all products are warranted by the
manufacturer of the product and not Solar Direct. Solar Direct will endeavor to resolve
warranty issues; however, the warranty is between the manufacturer and the end-user/customer.
Therefore any warranty claim(s) and/or liabilities are made with the manufacturer.
Solar Direct makes no claim as the performance or usability of any product; any
claims stated are made by the manufacturer only.
