#40 Stainless Steel Hose Clamps are used for sealing Rubber Couplings to panel headers and securing the header to the roof mounting clip.
Size: #40 are for use with Panels with 2” Headers
Two Hose Clamps are required for each Rubber Coupling to connect one panel header to the next panel header.
Top headers require an additional Hose Clamp to secure the rubber coupling to the roof mounting clip.
Note: Do Not attach the bottom header to the roof with a clamp and clip; this is to allow for expansion and contraction; securing the header will result in damaging the panel and will void the warranty.
A typical solar panel roof kit should look like the diagram below when finished. It may vary based on the actual layout.
