    The sensor is wired into the system and signals the controller unit with readings on the pool water temperature.

    Product Benefits:
    • Maximizes pool temperature

    Product Applications:
    • Used to measure temperature of the pool's water
    • Used with any Solar Control unit that requires 10K sensors


    Sizes:
    Model SC-025 1/4 inch:     The top nut that the sensor is screwed on by it measures 1/2 inch, the treaded portion measures 1/4 inch.

    Model SC-050 1/2 inch:     The top nut that the sensor is screwed on by it measures 3/4 inch, the treaded portion measures 1/2 inch.
    Pool Water Sensor application trouble-shooting tips:

    All GoldLine controls including GL35, AquaSol, and GL235 series,
    and all Heliomatic HM Series controls, and most other brands
    incorporate the use of 10k sensors. Some other lesser known
    brands used 3k sensors.

    To determine the type of sensor, the resistance must be measured in ohms using a volt/ohm meter when the sensor is at 77ºF. 

    10k measures 10,000 ohms and 3k measures 3,000 ohms. 
    As the temperature goes up, the resistance goes down. 

    Resistance can be checked at any temperature, and then
    convert the ohm reading measured to the temperature equivalent
    by using the conversion chart.
