The Solar Attic Fan with ShadeBuster Remote Solar Panel has all of the features of the Standard Flat Base Solar Attic Fan but no solar panel on the fan itself. This unit's solar panel is detached from the fan and it can be mounted anywhere on the roof. Place the solar panel on the sunniest area of the roof to maximize efficiency.

Solar Panel: The latest state-of-the-art circuitry captures sunlight even on overcast days. Totally weatherproof, our panels are designed for optimum efficiency and are hail, and extreme weather resistant. Dimensions: 23" x 19". Includes 15 feet extension wire.
Cover & Base: Molded with UV-stabilized ABS plastic to prevent damage from sunlight. The top has a shingled appearance that helps the unit blend in with the roof while also providing additional stability and strength.
Fan Blade: Specially designed 5-blade, 12" aluminum fan is pitched for maximum air flow. It operates whisper quiet with no harmonic noise.

Optional Thermostat
Any of our solar fans can be ordered with a Thermostat or you can add a thermostat to an existing fan: No adjustment necessary. Great for dry climates!
 The Fixed Thermal Switch is
designed to turn the fan:
ON: 80° F
OFF: 65° F
(+/-7°)
Example: Attic temperature rises to 80° and fan turns on. Once it cools to 65° the fan will shut off. If evening comes and temp does not fall below 65° to reset the switch, then the unit will start the next morning at sunrise and continue to cool the attic. However, if the attic temp falls below 65° at night, then the switch will shut off and will not turn the unit on again until attic temp reaches 80°.
Installer: This fan will not run unless the ambient (air) temperature is at or near 80°. To test fan for operation, disconnect red wire from thermal switch and attach directly to motor. Make sure solar panel is exposed to sunlight.
